DENTOMAXILLOFACIAL RADIOLOGY - Announcements

Dear Students,

The course in Dentomaxillofacial Radiology for ATS4 includes 10 hours of lectures, 10 hours of seminars and 30 hours of classes.

The course in Dentomaxillofacial Radiology for ATS4 bis includes 15 hours of lectures, 10 hours of seminars and 30 hours of classes.

The first 4 lectures for both years were delivered in scheduled timeslots before suspension of teaching activities in the Dental Schools.

The contents for the missing lectures and seminars are available for you in the Teaching Aids section. The contents for the seminars are being subsequently added to the iMUL platform.

As far as the classes are concerned, yesterday the vice-Rector announced that most probably the Ministry regulations will changed and up to 50% of classes can be done on line. If this is introduced, my teachers will be adding more materials to the iMUL platform for you, and possibly contacting you by Zoom, as well, when technical problems are resolved.

I hope to see you in person when the classes are resumed. The classes in Dentomaxillofacial Radiology are designed to deliver practical skills i.e. to analyse X-ray examinations available in the databases using dedicated software installed in the Computer Classroom of the Department of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology and discuss the findings with the teachers to learn how to report X-rays. It is very difficult to teach all these things on line not using the equipment in the Dental School. Therefore I do hope that the period of classes suspension will end mid-May and you will be able to continue your meetings with the teachers in the Dental School.
