INTRO TO CLINICAL MEDICINE - Course description

This 10-weeks long course covers topics concerning the medical history taking, physical examination, lab and radiological tests. The Course consists of a seminar and 9 lab sessions, during which we conduct 9 different simulation scenarios.
Students learn the fundamentals of building a relationship with a patient, how to gather relevant information, and conduct a physical examination.
In small group settings, students and faculty discuss the special challenges of caring for patients from diverse backgrounds, how to recognize one's own biases, and how to work effectively and ethically in difficult situations.
At the end of the course students will take the Final Test which consists of two parts: MCQ test (60 questions) and OSCE exam (5 stations).
