RULES AND REGULATIONS OF:

YEAR OF STUDIES I, II, III, IV, V
SEMESTER 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

The student is subject of evaluation in terms of knowledge, skills and competences. Although the assessment of competences accounts for 10% of the final grade, the lack of a positive grade makes it impossible to enter the semester credit in the first term.

COMPETENCE ASSESSMENT CONSISTS OF:
1. personal hygiene
2. neat appearance:
- wearing clean and ironed protective clothing in the form of a medical apron or two-piece dress (covering the length of the knees), clean protective footwear, protective gloves, safety glasses with a mask or visor
- not wearing jewelry, tying long hair, having short and clean nails
- leaving personal belongings, i.e. bags, backpacks, etc. in the designated place (locker)
3. personal culture:
- showing respect to the patient, teaching staff, medical staff and colleagues by using usual phrases and polite behavior.
- absolute ban on chewing gum during clinical classes
- absolute ban on using cell phones during clinical classes

THE STUDENT IS OBLIGED TO:
1. Attendance at the classes and wearing an identifier (ID) during clinical classes.
2. Make up absence during classes. Three late arrivals in a semester are treated as one absence.
3. The condition of admission to pass the semester is obtaining an average mark of minimum 3.0 knowledge tests. Failure to obtain a minimum average of 3.0 results in having 2.0 grade in the first semester credit deadline.
4. Performing number of procedures in accordance to norm.
5. Care with due care for the equipment in the rooms during pre-clinical and clinical classes.
6. As a result of violating the rules of using the equipment / devices used in the teaching process, the student is obliged to bear the costs of restoring the equipment to its original state.

THE STUDENT IS RIGHT TO:
1. Developing scientific interests in the Student Scientific Group in the Chair and Department of Conservative Dentistry with Endodontics.
2. Obtaining two additional points at the final semester test under condition of obtaining an average grade of at least over good (4.5). Points can be added only if more than 70% of correct answers are obtained.
3. Obtaining additional two points for the final exam test result, if the average of the semester test grades in the subject of conservative dentistry with endodontics is 4.0.
4. Obtaining a final grade from the final practical exam by an additional value of 0.5, if the average of the semester skill marks is 4.5.
5. Evaluation of forms of teaching and didactic work in the Chair and Department of Conservative Dentistry with Endodontics.
6. Admission to the retake test on the first retake date and the second retake test or commission credit on the second retake date in situation of obtaining unsatisfactory grade on the final test.
7. Submitting comments to the Head of the Department through the leader of the year.
8. Supplement consultations of knowledge and skills.

THE BASIS OF ENTRY TO THE FINAL TEST:
1. Presence at the classes
2. Obtaining positive grade in theoretical knowledge.
3. Performing procedures, evaluated positively by assistant doctor, according to the given norm.
4. Representing proper attitudes by student.
