INTRO TO MEDICAL PROFESSION - Course description

Introduction to Medical Profession (IMP) is conducted for one-semester and covers topics concerning basic skills in medical history taking, and patient-physician communication, physical examination and basic clinical procedures.

The IMP course develops and improves manual skills necessary in medical practice.

The main objective of the IMP course is to prepare students for holidays’ practice in hospital where they are obligated to assist nurses and physicians in clinical procedures.

The Course consists of 15 labs and 7 lecture sessions.
The teachers evaluate active participation at the labs.
At the end of the course students will take the Final Test.
