BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES - Course description

Behavioral Sciences course (BS) is conducted for one semester and comprises 50 academic hours. The BS course covers topics concerning the basics of mind and the mind-body relationship along with their practical correlations. Topics bring together perspectives of anthropology, psychology and sociology.

The Course consists of 15 lab sessions. To prepare for the laboratories students are expected to seek for information and read the material according to the schedule posted online on the Laboratory of Medical Simulation website prior to attending lab sessions. During the course student is obligated to participate in active way in the classes. The teachers evaluate active participation at the labs. During every lab session students are obliged to take short quizzes consisting of 5 multiple-choice questions. Students are required to take two partial tests consisting of thirty multiple choice test questions each. At the end of the course students will take the Final Test (60 MCQ).

Before the course starts the course’ coordinator presents the Rules and Regulations of the Department and Code of Honor. Each student is obligated to know both documents and confirm it with signature.
